Poster Competition for Glastonbury Yellow Day 2010‏

Martha Care is launching Glastonbury Yellow Day April 1st 2010 with a poster design competition, supported by the Central Somerset Gazette.  We would like to invite all children to participate in the competition. The competition will be featured in this weeks and next weeks Central Somerset Gazette.  Closing dates for entries are 24th February.

The competition is being judged in 3 age categories:

  1. Up to & including year 2
  2. Up to & including year 6
  3. Up to & including year 11

The winners will be selected by a panel of judges and the winning entries printed off and used to advertise Yellow Day. Winners will receive a framed copy of their winning design and the presentation will be featured in an article in the Central Somerset Gazette.

We would like to invite you to participate in our Yellow Day, last year was a great success and this year will be bigger and better with lots of support from the local community.  Simply think of something yellow to do to raise funds for Martha Care.  There are posters you can download from our website www.marthacare.co.uk.  If you let us know we'll feature your idea on our website and let the Gazette know and your idea may even feature in the paper.

We'd love your support to make it a day to remember in 2010!  Last year St Ben's & St John's had a yellow mufti day and various local businesses held a collection too.  We have yellow flower brooches available and I can arrange for a supply to be delivered to you for sale in the run up to the event.
